Laravel for Windows with no VTx cpu Support [SOLVED]

For those who have an old cpu with out Virtualization Technology (VT-x) and you get the following error follow the steps bellow to fix the problem.

Error:

Timed out while waiting for the machine to boot. This means that
Vagrant was unable to communicate with the guest machine within
the configured ("config.vm.boot_timeout" value) time period.

If you look above, you should be able to see the error(s) that
Vagrant had when attempting to connect to the machine. These errors
are usually good hints as to what may be wrong.

If you're using a custom box, make sure that networking is properly
working and you're able to connect to the machine. It is a common
problem that networking isn't setup properly in these boxes.
Verify that authentication configurations are also setup properly,
as well.

If the box appears to be booting properly, you may want to increase
the timeout ("config.vm.boot_timeout") value.

Steps:

  1. Run vagrant destroy (in the homestead directory)
  2. Open the file homestead.rb in Homestead/scripts folder
  3. Change config.vm.box = "laravel/homestead" to config.vm.box = "antoniofrignani/laravel-homestead-settler-32"
  4. Save homestead.rb
  5. Run vagrant up (it takes some time for the download to finish)

===================IMPORTANT===================

In windows you can't give the most of the commands in the windows terminal. The vagrant ssh worked for me just like the video only from the git shell app. Or you can download the putty application or other ssh client and connect at ip 127.0.0.1 port 2222 Username: vagrant Password: vagrant

Hello, interesting, I work on two computers, and one of them is running windows and has no VT-x support. So If I understand well, that trick would allow me to run the virtual machine with vagrant without any trouble such as the other one which has VT support ?
