I am feeling overwhelmed with the different approaches for building responsive designs. Which method do you think is the best and why:
-Block, Inline and Inline Block
-Using floats
-Flexbox

Look at a framework like bootstrap, or foundation. These frameworks offer responsive design while handling the browser compatibility issues.

11,217 PointsI am pretty naive when it comes to bootstrap. I have heard a lot about it, but do not have a good understanding of what it is exactly. My concern is that I want to have a firm understanding of CSS and html before I use any kind of framework that does some of the work for me.
In respect to Milos, I am still not clear why anyone would be using an out of date browser. Why would anyone be doing this?

Well, because he/she has an old computer... or because he/she doesn't know much about computers and don't know how to upgrade or install new browser... or because he/she uses a company computer without privileges to install/update anything...
This is browser usage stats: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp
This is list of browsers which support flexbox: http://caniuse.com/#search=flexbox
Floats are supported in all browsers.

15,691 PointsIf compatibility with older browsers is not a must, then flexbox is definitely recommended. But if you need to maintain compatibility with older browsers, better stick with floats.
