Databases SQL Basics Data, Databases and SQL Why This Course?

Learning Databases as an iOS Developer

I am wondering which database course(s) would be the best to pursue? I am an aspiring iOS developer, thus noSQL and MongoDB seem the most relevant. Thanks

My suggestion is to start-off with venerable SQL as almost every enterprise uses it (and so you will have plenty of job opportunities and expected to know about it during your job interviews). MongoDB (NoSQL) is relatively new and is gaining momentum. However, you would have acquired solid background if you know SQL and move to NoSQL. So, getting started with "SQL Basics" course will definitely be a great start.

Firebase is another option to use as your DB on cloud which offers different services and authentication as well. I worked with it and give me satisfying results but because its new before when I used that one it has limited command unlike with long run existing db like sql server and etc. NoSql and MongoDB is quite on demand to use as database but its really helpful if you can venture out some other tools to help you as iOS developer.
