Python Python Basics (2015) Number Game App String length

length function with string arguments.

So I might be messing up on either the length part on the if statement or have used the wrong string argument. not sure

PLEASE HELP

strlen.py
def just_right(str):
    if str.length < 5:
        return "Your string is too short."
    elif str.length > 5:
        return "Your string is too long."
    else:
        return True

Hi Noah, in Python you use the len() function. In this case len(str) to get the length of the string :)
