public void setShipType(String shipType) { this.shipType = shipType; public Spaceship(){ setShipType("SHUTTLE");

    public Spaceship() {
shipType = "SHUTTLE";

} }

First you declaring 2 constructors inside your setShipType function, check your scope but also you need a constructor with no parameters that means whithout initializing or declaring something in it, so it should look like it :

public void setShipType(String shipType) { this.shipType = shipType; }

public Spaceship() { }

Hope this'll do !

No I need it other answer more clear about this question.

Let's continue with our custom data model. We need some constructors. First, add a default constructor with no parameters. Inside the constructor, set shipType to "SHUTTLE".

Ok, i didn't have this part, so you just need to create a empty constructor and inside initializing your variable to "SHUTTLE", like that :

public SpaceShipe(){ this.shipType = "SHUTTLE"; }

this.shipType referencing your field, got it ?
