Courses Plus Student 40,672 PointsHello,
I'm guessing you are talking about the DNS addresses in order for the domain name to resolve. Name servers are there to translate a domain name (a human-readable address) into an IP address (machine address). We have domain names because we as humans can remember names better than IP addresses. DNS (Domain Name Servers) are there to translate the domain name. You can either use the DNS addresses of your web host or your registrar. If you use your registrar, you need to manually enter all of the IP addresses into your registrar account. It's just easier and less hassle to point to the web host's DNS server and allow them to handle all of that. If I remember, Bluehost's DNS servers are: ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com. You want to have at least 2 URLs for redundancy. Hope this helps.
Cheers!
