item.py
# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"

    return box(x)

You're passing the index into box in the same way you would call a function with input, so you're essentially calling a function box() that hasn't been defined anywhere. To address a member at index x in the box iterable, you need to use the brackets notation box[x]

Thanks for the feedback. figured this out !
