PHP Build a Simple PHP Application Adding a Contact Form Working with Post Variables

List of preset variables and commands

In this episode, we learn that there's a php command $_POST which contains all data from form posts. We also learn that there's variables like $_POST["name"] that will just call out the name field of the form. Is there any place where we can see a full list of these preset php commands and variables to learn from?

Similarly, common CMS tools are built using PHP like Wordpress. I'm a beginner at all of this, but as I understand it Wordpress also has its own preset variables and commands. Is there anywhere to see these as well?

For PHP this is the best resource you can use. http://www.php.net/manual/en/ Bookmark that link and make it your reference of choice.

Good Luck.
