11,968 PointsLogging even numbers
I'm trying to simplify this code. It wants the even numbers from 2-24 in console.log. Here is my code:
for (i =2; i<= 24; i++) { console.log(i); }
console.log(2);
console.log(4);
console.log(6);
console.log(8);
console.log(10);
console.log(12);
console.log(14);
console.log(16);
console.log(18);
console.log(20);
console.log(22);
console.log(24);
for (i =2; i<= 24; i++) {
console.log(i);
}

14,779 Pointstry:
for (var i =2; i<= 24; i+=2) {
console.log(i);
}
the difference being adding 2 digits for every loop with i+=2

13,770 PointsGreat challenge! I over complicated myself with modulus, but I definately had the right idea!
Enjoying the course so far Dave, thanks!

Jesse Fister although my examples show using the for loop and incrementing by just 1 each time through the loop, you don't have to do that. The last part of the for loop can be any expression you want. For example:
This will log the squares of
i
-- 2, 4, 16, 256 -- to the console.Joel Smith

14,779 PointsThanks Dave. Can I get an upvote for that? Trying to get My points! :)..
Also, thanks for wrapping My code so that it showed properly. I'd been trying to figure out how to do that for a while now. :)
