General Discussion

Looking for maybe a few people to work together with to create something small. For practice and gaining more knowledge.

I simply want to work together to create something small. Maybe we can publish it? Or not. I have been studying the fundamentals of programming for over 3 years now. Does that make me a good programmer? No it does not actually. I cant create the most advance website to date. However, what I do have down is the fundamentals. It is completely solid. I have studied, C, HTML, CSS, PHP (some laravel, some twig), JavaScript. There are many other languages that I have studied the fundamentals of, but not nearly as long as I have with my main languages.

I am open to any ideas at all: The point of collaboration, just like in schools, is to learn of each other. To bring something new to the drawing board. New ideas, new topics, new methods (or functions ;) if you understand), new knowledge. What I want to do Is collaborate with a group of individuals, specifically from treehouse, to create something beautiful. My hope is that it will have a ton of errors (hopefully not graphic errors, but coding errors), so that we may collaborate and analyze the code to find the problem.

This part really depends on how I feel about installing this, since ive never used GIT before. It will be a new experience: The program I will most likely feature for collaboration is GIT. So that we may backup any files just in case a team member accidentally makes "too many errors".

If you have not heard of GIT please watch this TeamTreehouse video: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/get-together-with-git

If you are interested, just keep in mind you will be working with entry level - moderate level people based on their history programming, and based on how many people are interested in joining.

Thank you for your time!

Have you thought about competing in code competitions like top coder? I seen some competitions that used html, css and JavaScript (under software development )maybe that will be a good way to get experience.
