3,329 PointsMake a function named add_list that takes a list. The function should then add all of the items in the list together....
can some one please just help me understand whats going on. I checked another post it had the answer but I still do not get it. whats the for loop doing exactly? how is the for loop returning 6?
def add_list(my_list):
total = 0
for item in my_list:
total = total + item
return total
# add_list([1, 2, 3]) should return 6
# summarize([1, 2, 3]) should return "The sum of [1, 2, 3] is 6."
# Note: both functions will only take *one* argument each.
