I'm not sure why this doesn't work. I've looked at the documentation for textContent and it looks like I'm using it correctly.
Challenge: Store the value of the text input element in the variable inputValue. (If you need a refresher on getting the value of a text input, this video from the previous section demonstrates how.)
My Code:
let inputValue = document.querySelector('#linkName').textContent;
I get the error message "The value of the text input has not been stored in 'inputValue'."

16,687 PointsHere they want you to call up the value of the input, so what you tip in the input bar. Too do dis you need the .value methode. not the textContent methode.
