Trying to post code with those back ticks ( ` ) is driving me nuts on Windows; not sure if it's an easy thing to do on Mac, but I have to copy and paste from the Markdown Cheatsheet everytime!

You mean you don't have the back tick on your keyboard?
I'm on windows myself and the back tick is on the same key as ~. It's above the tab key and below the esc key.
Perhaps if you're finding that key ok then maybe you don't have a blank line before your 3 opening backticks?

12,612 PointsAhh now, I'm using a mac keyboard lol so the mapping is different; I have the key on the board, but don't know what the opposite is!
i.e. the @ sign is above number 2 on the keyboard, but I have to press the " quote key lol silly me

Treehouse Guest TeacherOn most US keyboards, the backtick is to the left of the 1. It usually has the backtick ` and the tilde ~ on it.

33,856 PointsNope, but it's easy to confuse with the single quotation mark. The backtick (AKA grave accent) is, as Kenneth said, to the left of the 1 key. I just wrote a small guide on this actually, and of course Dave McFarland also has a guide on this specifically.

Courses Plus Student 94,610 PointsTo clarify, the code block that you're copying and pasting from the cheatsheat should not be any different than what you can produce on your keyboard. Unless you have some special keyboard that doesn't have the back tick.
