Marketing Tips

Hope this question is not out of the place...

I've recently finished creating a fashion store for friends (in Wordpress). SEO, great design, responsive and everything.

But its been 3 months and the store is not selling. Wondered if there's people here who can give some tips about why and how can I help them fix this.

Thanks!!

They have someone who does it but from the looks of it he didn't even add the markup to the code...

But I'm looking for more business type tips =)

Get active on Pinterest. Add some more boards, pin content of interest to your target audience, don't just pin your own self promotional content.

Do the same thing with Facebook. Provide some interesting non-self promotional content. Get your followers to engage with you.

On Instagram: post pictures of the clothes in use in real life - not just professional photos of models. Ditch the unrelated hashtags, you might get more views, but they aren't likely to convert to sales - it's spammy and makes the company look unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Finally, reach out to popular fashion bloggers, vloggers and intagrammers. Buy an ad, sponsor a post, give them free stuff to promote you, and offer their readers/followers a decent discount.

Twitter, Facebook, GoogleAds, Youtube.

There's probably nothing wrong with the product but word of mouth has not been spread enough. Send friends discount codes for 5% off clothing or tweet the code to followers.

Its hard work and you just need to keep pushing and pushing, no one will come if no one knows it exists.
