Markup Validation Error

Hey guys,

When I go and test my own version of this portfolio website, I'm getting the following error when using http://validator.w3.org/check

Error Line 7, Column 142: Bad value http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Changa+One|Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800 for attribute href on element link: Illegal character in query: not a URL code point. …ne|Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> Syntax of IRI reference: Any URL. For example: /hello, #canvas, or http://example.org/. Characters should be represented in NFC and spaces should be escaped as %20.

Do you guys know what would be the reason? It looks like same as Nick's version, his validation passes on the video, but mine is not passing it.

Thanks, Emre

Sorry, this has been asked many times before. I've looked up the forums after asking this. The problem is "|" on the link, and it should be replace by "%7C"

Cheers.

I had this same issue, replacing the pipe with "%7C" DOES pass validation, but completely removes the font for the site.
