Match object

Don't get what is wrong: re.match(.) gives you a match object - right? So I should be able to return this object.

def first_number(str):
  return re.match(r'\d',str)

You are doing a very good job! Just change the "match" method to the "search" method.

def first_number(a):
  return re.search(r"\d", a)
