MBA Learning to Code

Hello,

I will be graduating from MBA School this December and I am currently learning to code through Treehouse. I have no experience in the Tech Industry but have come to notice the many opportunities it has to offer and would like to jump in. What type of job should I expect/apply for once I graduate from both MBA School and Treehouse? Would it be wise to start out as an entry level coder? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think part of "What type of job" depends on what you want to do. Are you looking to get a job that requires a MBA, but also know the foundations of code so you can be a better leader/work with coders better, or are you looking to learn to code so you can build something and then market/sell it with your MBA education? Alternatively, perhaps you want to be a coder who can build products with the client side in mind? I think you will probably have a better grasp on that once you build a few things down the road.

In my case, I am a Marketing/PR student who is learning to dev so I can offer complete front-back end solutions, be an engineer who can sell, and know how to market my own products. Hope this helps.

As for whats there for entry into the field, look at things like http://www.indeed.com/q-Entry-Level-Web-Designer-jobs.html and http://www.glassdoor.com/Job/web-developer-jobs-SRCH_KO0,13.htm to get an idea of current openings.
