Migrate a Local WordPress Site to Live Server

I followed all on the video. The template is on my live server yet no pages show. The database is in place and all files have been uploaded correctly. Using a sub directory inside of the url. Went into PhpMyAdmin made sure the wppoptions inside the database site url is correct. Does the database store the location of the pages built store the location inside the database? All pages have been uploaded in wpcontent-themes folder. Wordpress does not show the pages even after I activated the theme

What am I doing wrong?

Being working on it I see the database created to tables one with lowercase wp_wpp and one uppercase wp_WPP. If I change the wp_config to read the $table_prefix = 'wp_wpp'; the site display as it should minus the images.. Yet the admin area goes blank. If I change If I change the $table_prefix = 'wp_WPP; The site does not display correctly and no pages show in the admin area.

Did you edit wp-config.php so that it points to the correct database using the new credentials etc.

Yes Thank you. I use SiteGround as my server so need to place the main user prior to the database name. Example if the user the gave me is user25 I need to write define('DB_NAME', 'user25_wp_portfolio'); in the wp-config file

I tried every answer but all were wrong. -wp-admin wp- content wp-themes wp-includes
