HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Organize with Unordered Lists

mine looked the same as the help I asked for

my answer looked the same as the help I received still don't know why it is saying Im wrong. Here is the question

Inside the three new list items, add the following images: "numbers-01.jpg", "numbers-02.jpg", and "numbers-06.jpg". Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!

That code looks little bit like a mess. There is no need for <a> tag to link images. Would not be a bad thing to rewatch videos that talk about linking content and/or images.

If you re-read the the instructions that you quoted, it says "don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!" But the code above has the images contained in links.

Also, the instructions don't say anything about a subdirectory named "img", but that seems to have been added to the image locations. Finally, the src attribute string encloses an incompletely formed "alt" attribute. And the "alt" attribute is not needed for this challenge.

your alt does not have the "=" after it. try adding the = between the alt and the "". Hope this helps!
