Misunderstanding

"Add a Boolean value to the condition in this conditional statement. Use a boolean value that will result in the message "This is true" appearing in an alert box."

Is the question asking me to create a whole setup like the random number guessing game for example? or am i overthinking this one

script.js
if () {
    alert('This is true');
} else {
    alert('This is false');
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

You are definitely over-thinking this one. All you need to do is place a boolean value, either true or false, into the arguments of the if, then statement.

Example:

if (true) {
    alert('This is true');
} else {
    alert('This is false');
}

No worries. If that works, would you mind marking my answer as best answer? I'm trying to get my points.
