Mobile First for Media Queries

I think the responsive web design course is good. But would suggest that perhaps the media queries be changed to be mobile first.

I read that some phones such as blackberrys dont understand mediaqueries so that is one good reason to make mobile the default styling.. more mobile device coverage.. as thats what responsive designs purpose is anyway..

Hi Anthony Boyadjian,

I cover the mobile first approach in my CSS Deep Dive on Media Queries.

Ah ok Guil, Thanks ill check it out :)

This question is for Guil,

What is the "context" in your examples of percentages..

I can't figure out where you got the percentages from. Did I miss a step or part of the video?

Hi adrie silva,

Take at look at this recent forum thread. It answers all questions regarding the context used.

Hope it helps.
