JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript (2015) Introduction to Methods Understanding this

modifying object

Modify this object so it uses two properties firstName and lastName and remove their variable declarations from the fullName method. Don't do anything to the console.log() call right now. Can anyone please tell me how to do this?

object.js
var contact = {
  fullName:  function(){
    firstName: "Andrew",
    lastName: "Chalkley",
    console.log(firstName + " " + lastName);
  }
}

You are close. Just move the firstName and lastName properties outside of the the fullName method. If you are not sure what that means, just think of a method as a property of an object that is a function

var contact = {
  firstName: "Andrew",
  lastName: "Chalkley",
  fullName: function() {
    console.log(firstName + " " + lastName);
  }
}
