Java

Multiple Strings using a %s formatter

Output a sentence that takes both the name and past tense verb using a single statement. It should look like this: name really past tense verb this coding exercise.

My code: String name = console.readLine("Name: "); String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Past Tense Verb: "); Console.printf(" %s really %s this coding exercise ", name, pastTenseVerb);

I think that this should work for you:

String name = console.readLine("name "); //console.printf("%s", name); String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("pastTenseVerb "); //console.printf("%s", pastTenseVerb); console.printf("%s really %s this coding exercise.", name, pastTenseVerb);
