my app is not appearing in the apps list in emulator. i am not getting any error messages in event log, please help.

i am on the fun facts app, using genymotion emulator

i just found a solution. make sure both genymotion and android studio are closed. open genymotion and leave emulator running, then open android studio and click Ctrl-R and select genymotion from currently running devices.
