var red;
var green;
var blue;
var rgbColor;
function getColorsDiv() {
console.log('Started the function!');
var count= 0; // you don't need this if you use for
do {
var red = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256 );
var green = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256 );
var blue = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256 );
var rgbColor = 'rgb(' + red + ',' + green + ',' + blue + ')';
html += '<div style="background-color:' + rgbColor + '; width:100px; height:100px"></div>';
count +=1;
} while(count < 9)
//EVEN BETTER IS WITH A FOR LOOP
for(var i=0; i < 10; i++){
var red = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256 );
var green = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256 );
var blue = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256 );
var rgbColor = 'rgb(' + red + ',' + green + ',' + blue + ')';
html += '<div style="background-color:' + rgbColor + '; width:100px; height:100px"></div>';
}
return html;
}
document.write(getColorsDiv());
Why nothing shows -> you have to give the divs a height and width. If no height is present and no data is in the div then the div will be masked.
Hope this helped.
