my code seems correct from fiddle but i cant see what it is testing it with

if i could see what is being tested against this code, it would be beneficial in being able to solve as this works in fiddle

For this function, you only need to determine if there is any overlap. It's not necessary for the overlap to exactly match the input set.

        if COURSES[topic] & topics:  # check for any overlap

But your concept may come in handy for the next task!
