My code seems similar to the one shown in the video, but it isn't working. Please help.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with my code?

var playList = [
  'I Did It My Way',
  'Respect',
  'Imagine',
  'Born to Run',
  'Louie Louie',
  'Maybellene'
];

function print(message) {
  document.write(message);
}
function printList( list ) {
  var listHTML = "<ol>";
  for (var i = 0; i < list.length; i += 1) {
    listHTML += "<li>" + list[i] + "</li>";
    listHTML += "</ol>"
    print(listHTML);
  }
}
printList(playList);

Hi there Tayyeba!

Problem was in function printList.

In for loop you were trying to close ordered list in each iteration and after this displaying it.

for (var i = 0; i < list.length; i += 1) {
    ...
    listHTML += "</ol>"
    print(listHTML);
    ...
}

All you need to do, is to move those two lines of code out of the for loop. And everthing will work as you expected ;)

Here is improved version.

function printList( list ) {
  var listHTML = "<ol>";
  for (var i = 0; i < list.length; i += 1) {
    listHTML += "<li>" + list[i] + "</li>";
  }
  listHTML += "</ol>"
  print(listHTML);
}

Best regards!
