Hey guys, I've just finished and published my first app (that's separate to the courses here on treehouse) feel free to test and be critical (it's still in Beta until next week).
A big thanks to Ben Jakuben, Evan Anger and Craig Dennis who have all given me an extensive knowledge of Android and Java (with lots and lots still left to learn!!). I came here knowing very little and wanting to learn, can't wait for what else I'm going to learn.
You can get it here

A bit about the app...
The problem
Here in the UK, Derbyshire. I work for a bus company called trentbarton, we have a sister company called kinchbus, both companies operate part of a joint bus service named skylink.
We wanted customer's to be able get to their closet stop easily, know what the price of their ticket would be/know which ticket to buy and be able to get a live update of when their bus would be due to depart.
All of this has been achieved after much head scratching and googling like crazy... in fact it went so well I had time to implement a simple sprite game similar to flappy bird using our own company characters called bods.
I wanted to share everything I've found out here as treehouse has been invaluable to me, so while I may not be able to distribute exact rip off's of the source code for the app I'm happy to give any assistance to anyone trying to replicate anything in the app. Likewise if you find any bugs or have any suggestions please give me a shout!
Thanks Daniel

Treehouse TeacherNice! Really cool that your first app is something that people are actually able to make use of. One thing you could do would be to add some polish to the play store listing. You could get rid of the unnecessary notifications by drawing a black box over them, and you could make the pressed home buttons not look pressed by copying/pasting from the screenshots where it isn't pressed. Also, if you want to add any formatting to the description there are some option for that.

18,106 PointsHey Ben
Thanks for the design tips, not my strength at all! I will definitely try to polish the listing, the graphic designer at work should be able to Photoshop the changes you've mentioned about the screenshots. I didn't realise I could apply formatting either so I'll look into this.
Thanks
