My footer doesn't change color.

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Victor Gordian | Photo </title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"> <style> footer { color: green; } footer { color: orange; } </style> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"> <h1>Victor Gordian</h1> <h2>Photo</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul>
</nav> </header> <section> <ul> <li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p> </a>
</li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> <p>Playing with blending modes in Photoshop.</p> </a>

That is how I have it, but it doesn't change the default color when I go check it

There are a couple of typos in your footer: the img tag is missing the closing ">" and its alt attribute is missing the "=".
