You could try using a deprecated version of jdk/eclipse. Also there are other IDE's similar to eclipse! Here is another popular IDE called IntellJ Idea. http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/

You can try using this as a plug-in http://www.genymotion.com/ it's an android emulator. there are tons of tutorials that will help you implement this emulator in your ide.

I am able to get the IDE to work it's the sdk or CPU that won't run my emulater I can't open jdk arm

If you can't use the jdk, you could just use android studio. Have you checked your issue via stack overflow or a google search?

I can use studio but still am haveing trouble with the emulator It's the operating osx 10.6 to run jdk 7 or 8 I need to be running 10.7 osx I was hoping there was a way around it

I tryed that it said the same thing eclipse said can't open not supported on my Mac

Can you not update your OS so you can use the latest version? I thought Apple were allowing users to upgrade straight for Snow Leopard ot Mavericks for free?

I could not find the link to upgrade to snow leopard I found maverick but my system is to old to jump from lion to maverick I can't afford to buy snow leopard I guess I will have to keep trying I have spent many hours trying
