9,405 PointsWhen you say your moves aren't being recognized as variables what exactly do you mean? What behaviours are you witnessing? Are you getting an error message? When I attempted to run your code, I initially received an AttributeError when I typed 'quit' and a NameError when I typed any other move. If that is your experience, check your python version. The videos teach python 3.x, but if your python version is 2.x (which is still the default for most systems) you will need to either use 'raw_input' instead of 'input' or upgrade your python.
