My picture isn't showing up on the page.

I dragged and dropped the new image, renamed it, and put the name of the new file in place of Joy's, but my image isn't showing up when I hit the eyeball link.

It may not be a direct answer to your problem, but these questions might help you in figuring out what the issue is and why your image is not displaying as expected:

  • Are you using an Absolute or a Relative file path to the directory the image is in?
  • Also if you have just replaced the filename, is the location of your image in the same directory as Joy's image was?
  • Is the image's file format correct and matching it's source?
  • Have you tried experimenting with replacing Joy's image with another provided image that you know is already in the same directory, and already displaying correctly? As this can help determine if the issue is with the image you have uploaded, or if it is a syntax error in your code.

I hope some of that is helpful to you in answering your own question :)

Just adding some more ideas, did u try and put it back to Joys picture, does it still work? And did u save it and previewed it? Maybe add a screenshot of your folders/code as its just guesswork for us now.

I had trouble because the image I grabbed was high res. I had to reduce it using the photo viewers editor.
