2,703 PointsMy sister and I are hosting our own site on a local server. How can I work on this on another computer??
We are working with MAMP.

7,625 PointsYou'll want to install MAMP on the other computer and then copy the files over. A better long term solution will be to store the source code in a version control system, like Git. You can learn a lot more about Git in our Git Basics course.

2,703 PointsThank you so much! I took some Git basics, but I am wondering... does my sister have to know how to use Git for me to connect to her site with git? In other words, could she continue to use wordpress the way she is using it, while I work on the site through Git? Im not sure if this question even makes sense, so I apologize I am new to this!

7,625 PointsYou'll need to set MAMP up on your computer as well. Git's basically an easy way to share the code between both of your computers.
