My <ul> isn't centering along the same point as the rest of the content on the page.

The ul I'm using for the 4 photos on the index.html page is shifted slightly to the right of center.

I made a really obvious rookie mistake... somewhere. :)

This is also my first question and post on the forum so I apologize if some piece of information has been left out. Here's the link to the preview, I didn't see a button for it when I pulled up the snapshot:

Are you utilizing the Chrome or Mozilla inspection tool? You can get a visual display of the applied styles (and the DOM). Ctrl+Shift+i in Chrome or you can always Right click on and Inspect any element on any web page.

Using that, it looks like your #gallery unordered list has a left side padding of 40px. You should track down where that style is being applied; I think I saw this in your code: padding: 0 0 0 40px. If you can't fix that, this is hacky, but in your stylesheet you can account for this margin by negating it with:

#gallery ul {
  margin-left: -40px;
}
