My Xcode is getting stuck, just saying "Indexing Text" when I open a new project.

My Xcode is getting stuck, just saying "Indexing Text" when I open a new project. If I try to use it, it freezes and I need to force quit. I am using version 9.3.

Anyone having the same problem or know the solution?

Hi there! My guess is that this is only happening on one particular project. Sometimes (albeit rarely) something can happen to an Xcode project that makes it unreadable. My suggestion is to follow the instructions on this stackoverflow question and see if that works for you.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Thanks for the answer but nothing seems to help. It happens every time I start a new project. I just deleted Xcode completely and installed it again and the problem didn't go away. This is the most annoying thing ever!

Turns out that I just had to restart my entire computer. Problem solved. Thanks for the help
