NameError

Hello! I keep getting NameError when I write a name.

Here's my code:

TICKET_PRICE = 10

tickets_remaining = 100

while tickets_remaining >=1:
    print("There are {} tickets remaining.".format(tickets_remaining))
    name = input("What is your name?  ")
    num_tickets = input("How many tickets would you like, {}?".format(name))
    num_tickets = int(num_tickets)
    amount_due = num_tickets * TICKET_PRICE
    print("The total due is ${}".format(amount_due))
    should_proceed = input("Do you want to proceed? Y/N  ")
    if should_proceed.lower() == "y":
        #TODO: Gather credit card info and process it
        print("SOLD!")
        tickets_remaining -= num_tickets
else:
    print("Thank you anyways, {}!".format(name))
print ("Sorry the tickets are sold out!")

Hi Natalia,

This is odd but I'm not able to reproduce that error when I test in the command line on my computer. The program is working as it should.

Are you using workspaces? Are you able to determine which version of Python you are using? And lastly... the killer one... are you certain you've saved your work before testing. Thanks!

I was actually using Atom. Tried it on Workspaces and it worked. Why dosen't it work with Atom? Thanks!!
