Need a help with Javascript

ok so am doing the interactive website project and its taking me days to get my head around the questions, so I clicked on "Learn javascript and jQuery" Adventure just to see if there was any extra videos and I find out there is a whole section on the foundations of javascript.

So am now wondering why this section is missed out on the "Become a Web Designer" adventure.

Hi Ashley. How do you mean?

I was wondering that too. Im not sure but i think it was there EARLIER, but now got replaced by some other things.

Hi Marius. On the "Learn Javascript and jQuery" adventure there is a foundation javascript stage that explains javascript from the basics up.

I have found that interactive website project does not explain JavaScript basics very well (no disrespect to Andrew intended) but looking on the forum alot of people are having trouble with the JavaScript in the project because I think like me these people have worked through the "become a web designer" adventure maybe not knowing anything about JavaScript (like me lol) and got stuck on understanding it.

For now am going to go through the foundation section of JavaScript and then come back to the interactive website project, maybe it will give me a better understanding of the codes used in JavaScript.

Hi Lukasz I think Treehouse should have included the foundation section for all newbies because jumping straight into Andrews videos for me has been like jumping face first into a swimming pool with no water lool.

Oh I see.

Have just started HTML and CSS a couple weeks ago my self and barely scratched the surface on Java.

If I can recommend some other tutorials, Stanford University offers classes on YouTube. I just started CS106A: Programming Methodology my self.

Real good course on software engineering and programming from a very basic level. Also includes software, handouts, assignments and a very fun program called "Karel the Robot" - engineered to teach you about programming in Java.

Ok thanks for the heads up Ill check that out in the morning. I was just told aswell that if struggling with a javascript start with the "Intro To Programming" section its all to do with basic javascript.

Good luck.

introduction to programming has all the programming constructs It gives very basics of programming . otherwise man you can check out w3schools.com website they have good examples to get you started .
