iOS Swift Basics (retired) Operators Binary Operators

need help for Binary operation

i stuck with divide height and width with 12 . please i need help

area.swift
// the height and width of a wall
let height = 120.0 // in inches
let width = 144.0 // in inches
let area = (height/12 ) * (width/12)
let areaInFeet  = area /12

Hi Donny,

You have the right solution. Just assign what you have in the constant "area" to "areaInFeet" instead. Get rid of the last line of code. You don't have have to divide by 12 a second time.

// the height and width of a wall
let height = 120.0 // in inches
let width = 144.0 // in inches

let areaInFeet = (height/12) * (width/12)
