Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String concatenation

Need help using the + within a string.

Having a very difficult time figuring this one out, any help is very appreciated!

name =("Brendan")
subject =("Treehouse loves + Brendan")

They want you to use the variable you created.

name = "your name"
subject = "Treehouse loves  " + name

I'm still not understanding, i can't see where im going wrong.

Your plus sign is within the quotes. So the resulting string is "Treehouse Loves + Brendan".

What they want is a string that is:

"Treehouse Loves Brendan".

Okay finally got it thank you!

Nice!
