I am able to get past the first step of this code challenge but am swamped by the second. If theres anyone out there who can help me get past it it would be greatly appreciated. I copied and pasted an answer but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks

loops.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count { sum = sum + numbers[counter] counter += 1

Hi Alec! Your code is correct, you just need to put your code statements onto separate lines:

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter += 1
}

Hope that helps - let me know if you have any questions :)
