Need help with Functions,Floats,Loops,

This is what it asks me to do.

Oops, I forgot that I need to break out of the loop when the current item is the string "STOP". Help me add that code!

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        print(items)
        if item == "STOP":
            break

Hello justice miller,

You should check to see if your item is == 'STOP' before printing otherwise you will not break when you need to.

SPOILER below is the code that passed for me

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item == 'STOP':
            break
        else:
            print(item)

You could also remove else: as well and simplify this a bit

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item == 'STOP':
            break
        print(item)

Happy Coding!
