Python Functions, Packing, and Unpacking Getting Info In and Out of Functions Functions with Arguments and Returns

Need Help with this Return activity!

This seems like it should be the easiest code to right! I do not know what id wrong, and I am wasting way to much time on this simple code!

creating_functions.py
def hello_student(name):
    print('Hello ', name)
    return

1 Answer

Hello,

You almost have it. The challenge wants you to return the string. Replace the print statement with a return statement, and replace the "," with a "+" to concatenate the string with the parameter:

def hello_student(name):
    return "Hello " + name

Hope this helps!
