Need to know

I followed everything the video did but I felt like I needed to add a restriction to not let the player type a number bigger than the max and i was wondering if I should stop doing more than the video said or should I continue doing it

"Doing more" greatly helps to learn faster. It stretches your knowledge and perspective on problem solving. So, yes, keep it up!!

In general, boundary checking of user input is a good practice. Unexpected user input can wreak havoc in a program.

The one draw back to adding extra code is it sometimes confuses the challenge checker on Treehouse.
