Your code is correct but when you're building the Request, you're calling url before apiUrl is defined. You'll need to move that code below the declaration.

import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; import android.view.View; import android.widget.Button;

public class MovieActivity extends Activity {

@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_movie);

    // Get some movie information!
    String apiUrl = "http://api.rottentomatoes.com/api/public/v1.0/movies.json?apikey=xyz&q=hobbit";
  OkHttpClient client = new OkHttpClient();

Request request = new Request.Builder() .url(apiUrl) .build(); Request request=new Request.Builder().url(apiUrl).build();

}

}

I tried this and am still not passing.I am not getting what you mean exactly by moving the code below the declaration.The code above is what i did after you said i should put the code below the declaration.

oooowww dont worry i finally got it.lol Thank you for the help.Greatly appreciate.
