[random * (max - min + 1)
] + min
.
Your implementation is missing the "+ 1
" part, which is necessary to make the maximum number one of the possible random results. As is, it will work just fine for generating numbers up to, but not including, the max number.
Extra credit: Can you refactor it so that "parseInt" is used only once on each input?
