Not able to click on label so not taken to HTML

When I "stepover" this code const listItem = checkbox.parentNode; I get listItem = label {form: null, htmlFor: "", control: input, title: "", lang: "", …}. In the video, it shows just listItem = label and then you can click on label and it takes you to the HTML. I don't get that. What am I doing wrong?
