8,185 PointsNot able to get this code to return the first and last name
Not sure what I need to change?
struct Person {
let firstName: String
let lastName: String
}
func getFullName(name1: String) -> [Person] {
var fullName: [Person] = []
let name2 = Person(firstName: "Carl ", lastName: "Smith")
fullName.append(name2)
return fullName
}
let fullName = Person(firstName: "Carl ", lastName: "Smith")

71,830 PointsThe func needs no parameter, as it will get the first and last names from the struct's member variables. The function will return whatever first and last names have been stored in these member variables by the default constructor:
struct Person {
let firstName: String
let lastName: String
func getFullName() -> String {
return firstName + " " + lastName
}
}
let aPerson = Person(firstName: "Carl", lastName: "Smith")
let fullName = aPerson.getFullName()
