Not able to use keyboard movement keys (WASD or arrow keys) to move frog

Here's our code:

using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic;

public class PlayerMovement : MonoBehaviour {

private Animator playerAnimator;
private float moveHorizontal;
private float moveVertical;
private Vector3 movement;

// Use this for initialization
void Start () {
    playerAnimator = GetComponent<Animator> ();
}

// Update is called once per frame
void Update () {
    moveHorizontal = Input.GetAxisRaw ("Horizontal");
    moveVertical = Input.GetAxisRaw ("Vertical");

    movement = new Vector3 (moveHorizontal, 0.0f, moveVertical);

}

void FixedUpate () {
    if (movement != Vector3.zero) {
        playerAnimator.SetFloat("Speed", 3f);
    } else {
        playerAnimator.SetFloat("Speed", 0f);
    }
}

}

When we run this, the frog does not move in the Unity player. We're using Unity 5.5.0f3 Personal and Mono 5.9.6. We get no errors.

BTW, this forum editor destroys the formatting of our code from MonoDevelop.

Please help us resolve this issue and get this running.

Thanks,

Robert

I believe you have to multiple your moveHorizontal and moveVertical by either Time.deltaTime or multiple them by a constant float.
