Not being able to echo (SOLVED)

It says that it cannot see mike's name

$name = "Mike";

?>

<?php echo $name ?>

Yeah same problem happens for me. So you just have to refresh the page? I entered it as such and it did not solve the problem. I refreshed my page also.

<?php echo $name; ?>

It is some kind of bug in the coding engine.

You need to add a semi-colon after $name like so...

<?php echo $name; ?>

Tried it.. Did not help. Just had to refresh the page LOL

These codding engines do have some serious bugs, it can't printout echo to the screen. I refreshed it then started again, went through the same exact steps.Finally i passed.
