Hi Kaleb,

It looks like somewhere along the way changed the closing </textarea> to no longer include the / And you also have an extra > in the line with the button tags, and you don't need to put Submit Comment in quotes. The final thing should look like:

      <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name">
      <textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"></textarea>
      <button type="submit">Submit Comment</button>

where you currently have:

      <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name">
      <textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"><textarea>
      <button type="submit">"Submit Comment"></button>

Apparently you did not close the tag "form"

Try this:

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>HTML Forms</title> </head> <body> <form action="index.html" method="post"></form> <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name"> <textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"></textarea> <button type="submit">"Submit Comment"</button> </body> </html>
